Training
Students undergo an educational and clinical training on Parkinson's Disease provided by trained professionals from the Davis Phinney Foundation.
Weekly Meetings
Patients and students meet virtually every week for the semester. Discussions often involve childhood stories, common hobbies, career aspirations, and more. Often, a new friendship/mentorship is born out of the program!
Clinical Outcomes & Feedback
We measure the effectiveness of the weekly meetings in promoting psychosocial well-being and quality of life among PD patients by administering validated patient-reported outcome metrics before and after program participation.
